Julianne Griffith, 68, of Bella Vista, Ark., died Saturday, Aug. 11, at Northwest Medical Center in Bentonville, Ark. A memorial service will be at 10 a.m. Friday, Aug. 17, at the Bella Vista Funeral Home Chapel, 2258 Forest Hills Blvd., Bella Vista, Ark.

Julianne Griffith was born Sept. 25, 1938, in Salt Lake City, Utah, to Edward William Hays and Grace Price Hays. She was raised and educated in Boone. She married Bruce Griffith June 13, 1954, in Boone. They lived in West Des Moines and later in Sarasota, Fla. They moved to Bella Vista, Ark., in 2003. She enjoyed playing golf, traveling, watching birds and other wildlife. She also loved her family and many friends.

She is survived by her husband, Bruce Griffith, of Bella Vista, Ark.; one son, Gary (Sally) Griffith, of Sarasota, Fla.; one daughter, Kathy Griffith, of Bella Vista, Ark.; one brother, Robert (Lovell) Hays, of Johnston; and four grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, William Hays.
