THE AMES TRIBUNE, Ames, Story County, Iowa, Thursday, August 2, 2007.

Margaret E. Larsen-Blumenschein, 94, of Omaha, Neb., and originally of Ames, died Tuesday, July 31, at Immanuel Terrace in Omaha. Memorial services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 4, at Fogelstrom Chapel at Immanuel Terrace, 67th and Sorensen Parkway, in Omaha, with private burial of the cremains at a later date in St. John's by the Campus Episcopal Church in Ames.

She is survived by one brother and sister-in-law, Einar and Lois Larsen; three children and spouses, Barbara and Frederick Stam, Gary and Gwen Blumenschein, and Sue and Mike Marsh; nine grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Blumenschein, and her parents, Julius and Jenny Larsen.

Memorials may be made to Trinity Lutheran Church, Lutheran Family Services or Fogelstrom Chapel at Immanuel Terrace, all in Omaha, Neb.

Roeder Mortuary, 108th Street Chapel, 2727 N. 108th St., Omaha, Neb., is in charge of arrangements.
