TRI COUNTY TIMES, Story County, Iowa, Thursday, July 26, 2007.

Dennis Roger Lillard, 41, of Des Moines, died Thursday, July 19, at his residence. Services were Monday, July 23, at Collins United Methodist Church. Burial was in Evergreen Cemetery in Collins.

Dennis Roger Lillard was born July 19, 1966, in Des Moines, to Chester and Lucille (Henderson) Lillard. He was baptized and confirmed at the United Methodist Church in Collins. He graduated in 1984 from Collins-Maxwell High School, and had lived in Des Moines ever since. He married Lisa Briner May 19, 2000, in Des Moines.

He worked at Excalibur Business Forms in Des Moines as a machine operator.

Dennis enjoyed Iowa State basketball and the Chicago Cubs.

Survivors include his wife, Lisa of Des Moines; one daughter, Jordan of Grimes; three sons, Kyle of Des Moines, and Ryan and Austin, at home in Des Moines; mother, Lucille Lillard of Collins; one brother, Steven (Karen) Lillard of Harlingen, Texas; one nephew, Jesse; one niece, Stefanee of Harlingen, Texas; mother- and father-in-law, Marylin and Robert Briner of Agency; and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, Chester Lillard, April 13, 2005.

Memorials may be directed to the family.

Fredregill Funeral Home in Collins is handling the arrangements.
