Thomas S. Naig, 88, of Story City, died Thursday, May 24, at Bethany Manor in Story City. Services will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, May 30, at Bethany Manor Chapel in Story City. Burial will be in the Story City Cemetery.

Thomas S. Naig was born July 22, 1918, in Stavanger, Norway. He married Elvina Canady on October 26, 1942.

He is survived by a daughter, Mary Naig, of Cedar Rapids; a son, Robert Naig, of Cave Creek, Ariz.; four grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, wife and two brothers.

Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, May 29, at the Soderstrum Funeral Home in Story City.

A memorial has been established in his name.
