THE AMES TRIBUNE, Ames, Story County, Iowa, Tuesday, May 22, 2007.

Mazel G. Johnson, 89, of Story City, died Sunday, May 20, at Mary Greeley Medical Center in Ames. Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, May 23, at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Story City. Burial will be in Story City Municipal Cemetery.

She is survived by her husband, Donald G. Johnson, of Story City; two sons, Gary (Marion) Johnson, of Story City, and Steve (Marcy) Johnson, of Story City; one daughter, Charlene Keltner, of Lake Mills; two sisters, Maxine Hovick, of Story City, and Ione Lenning, of Ames; nine grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 5 to 7 tonight at Immanuel Lutheran Church.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Riverside Lutheran Bible Camp.

Soderstrum Funeral Home in Story City is in charge of arrangements.
