THE AMES TRIBUNE, Ames, Story County, Iowa, Saturday, May 5, 2007.

Veva Everson, 86, formerly of Zearing, passed away Thursday, May 3, at Hubbard Care Center in Hubbard. Funeral services will be Monday, May 7, at 11 a.m. at Bergen Lutheran Church, Roland. Burial will follow in Lincoln Township Cemetery in Zearing.

Everson is survived by two sons, Alan Cook of Roland, and Ronald Lee Cook of Montplier, Idaho; one daughter, Evelyn Jean Hall of Nevada; two sisters, Helen Settle of Marshalltown and Audrey Norman of Union; one brother, Kenneth Ralph Jones of Nevada; and 12 grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Sunday May 6 at the Bergen Lutheran Church Fellowship Hall, Roland.
