THE AMES TRIBUNE, Ames, Story County, Iowa, Wednesday, April 26, 2007.

Dean McBride Johnston, 81, of Nevada, died Saturday, April 14, at Rolling Green Village in Nevada. A memorial service will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, April 28, at Fredregill Funeral Home in Zearing. Burial will be in Lincoln Township Cemetery in Zearing.

He is survived by one son, Michael S. Johnston; and one sister, Marilyn Reuber Batchelor, of Ottawa, Ontario, Canada.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Jean; his parents; and one sister, Wilma Sharp.

Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to the time of service Saturday, April 28, at the funeral home.
