THE AMES TRIBUNE, Ames, Story County, Iowa, Tuesday, April 10, 2007.

Frances Pauline Bailey, 98, of DeLand, Fla., died Sunday, April 8. A memorial service will be at a later date in Ames.

Frances Pauline Bailey was born in Sidney and moved to DeLand in 1975 from Ames. She was a homemaker and a member of Collegiate United Methodist Church and the Art Club in Ames.

She is survived by her husband of 72 years, Max Bailey; one daughter, Connie Wight, of El Segundo, Calif.; two sons, Gary Bailey, of Victoria, Minn., and Dean Bailey, of Lakeville, Minn.; four grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

Lankford Funeral Home of DeLand, Fla., is in charge of arrangements.
