THE AMES TRIBUNE, Ames, Story County, Iowa, Sunday, March 18, 2007.

Duane R. Mostrom, 71, of Story City, died March 16, at Israel Family Hospice House in Ames. Funeral services will be Wednesday, March 21, at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Story City.

Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at Soderstrum Funeral Home in Story City.

Duane R. Mostrom is survived by his wife, Ardella, of Story City; three sons, Mark (Kathy), of Ventura, Steven, of Davenport, and Dan (Susy), of Springfield, Mo.; three daughters, Sheryl (Gene) Hager, of Eyota, Minn., Diane (Steve) Holdredge, of Story City, and Wendy (John) Heilman, of Springfield, Mo.; 18 grandchildren; two stepgrandchildren; two stepgreat-grandchildren; one sister, Marcile Skran, of Mason City; and one sister-in-law, Donna Mostrom, of Clear Lake.

He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Dean and David; and one son-in-law, Jerry Severson.

Memorials may be made to Immanuel Lutheran Church.
