Mony Kleinendorst, 53, of Boone, died Monday, Feb. 26, at Iowa Methodist Medical Center in Des Moines, due to injuries from a motor vehicle accident. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Friday, March 2, at Church of the Open Bible in Boone. Burial will be Saturday, March 3, in Elmwood-St. Joseph Cemetery in Mason City following a funeral service at 10:30 a.m. at Hogan-Bremer-Moore Funeral Home in Mason City.

Mony married Warren Kleinendorst June 14, 1997, in Boone. She was a pharmacy technician at the Boone Hy-Vee Pharmacy since November 2006. Previously, she worked at Kmart Pharmacies for five years in Mason City and 10 years in Ames. She was dedicated to her job and helping customers. She belonged to a quilting club in Ames and a genealogy society. She was a cancer survivor.

She is survived by her husband, Warren, of Boone; three sons, Christopher (Shawn) Blau and Joshua Blau, all of Rogers, Ark., and Robert Blau, of Mason City; her mother, Shirley Andersen, of Mason City; one brother, Marcus (Debbie) Andersen, of Jacksonville, Fla.; and six grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her father; her biological mother, Louise Monaghan; and one sister, Mary Louise Andersen.

Friends may call from 3 to 9 p.m. today at Schroeder Memorial Chapel at Sixth and Marshall streets in Boone, where the family will be present from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Visitation will continue from 10 a.m. to time of service Friday at the church. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to time of service Saturday at Hogan-Bremer-Moore Funeral Home in Mason City.
