Erma D. Erickson, 93, of Ames, passed away Tuesday, Feb. 27, in Ames. Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Friday, March 2, at Adams Funeral Home, with the Rev. Randy Gehring officiating. Burial will be in Ames Municipal Cemetery.

Erma D. Erickson was born June 12, 1913, in Ames, to Alfred and Bertha (Halvorson) Erickson. She was a 1932 graduate of Ames High School and lifelong Ames resident. She was office manager and head of bookkeeping at the Ames Daily Tribune for more than 33 years, retiring in 1977.

She was a member of Bethesda Lutheran Church, Ames Woman's Club, AARP and was a charter member of Altrusa.

She is survived by nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers, Archie, Ernest and Donald; and two sisters, Pauline Elkhorn and Beatrice Boyer.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Friday, March 2, at Adams Funeral Home.
