THE AMES TRIBUNE, Ames, Story County, Iowa, Saturday, February 10, 2007.

Jeanne Helvig, 70, of Aurora, Colo., died Wednesday, Feb. 7, in Aurora. Burial will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 14, in Story Memorial Gardens in Ames.

Jeanne Helvig was born April 9, 1936, in Ames, to Charles and Evelyn (Helland) Blair.

Survivors include her mother, Evelyn Blair of Aurora, Colo., formerly of Ames; son, Steve (Lupita) Helvig, of Aurora, Colo.; and three granddaughters, Julie Pierce, Holly Helvig and Sarahi Helvig, all of Colorado.

Visitation will be from 4 to 6 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 13, with a prayer service at 5 p.m., at Adams Funeral Home.

Memorials may be given to the American Cancer Society.
