Glen Buseman, 73, of Ames, died Monday, Jan. 15, at Israel Family Hospice House. A gathering of friends will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 18, at First Reformed Church in Aplington, followed by a graveside service in Pleasant View Cemetery.

Glen Buseman was born Sept. 13, 1933, to Thomas and Sarah (Fekkers) Buseman. He graduated high school and continued his education at Hamilton Business College. He previously lived in Dumont and Webster City before coming to Ames. He was a custodian at Iowa State University for 29 years before retiring.

He is survived by one sister-in-law, Mildred Buseman, and several cousins.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Richard.

Visitation will be from 3 to 5 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 17, at Adams Funeral Home.
