THE AMES TRIBUNE, Ames, Story County, Iowa, Saturday, January 6, 2007.

Anna Neva Shold, 95, of Roland died Saturday, Jan. 6, at Bethany Manor in Story City. Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 10, at Bethany Manor. Burial will be in Roland Cemetery. Visitation will be after 5 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 9, with the family present from 6 to 8 p.m. at Bethany Manor Chapel.

Anna was born Aug. 27, 1911, to Ole and Ellen (Henderson) Hovland. She married Erling S. Shold March 21, 1937. He died Jan. 18, 1991.

She is survived by two sons, David, of rural Roland, and John (Joan) of rural Roland; three grandchildren, Cindy (Tim) Shanks, of Harvard, Ill., Andrew and Sarah Shold, both of rural Roland; and one sister, Louise Tungesvick, of Story City. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Erling; and three sisters, Alma, Mabel and Esther Olson.

Soderstrum Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
