Barbara Mooney, 78 died Aug. 24, 2006, at Treasure Coast Hospice residence in Stuart. She was born in Neveda, Iowa and lived in Stuart for more than 20 years, coming from New Canaan, Conn. She was a homemaker. She was a member of Mariner Sands Golf & Country Club and DAR. She was a member of Mariner Sands Chapel. Survivors include her sons, Michael Mooney of Houston and Steven Mooney of Oakton, VA., brother Wesley Alexander of Neveda, and one grandchild. She was preceeded in death by her husband, Wallace Mooney. Memorial contributions may be made to Jesus House of Hope, 2484 S.SE.Bonita Street, Stuart, FL 34997

Services: A Memorial Service will be held at Mariner Sands Chapel, December 9, 2006 at 11:00 a.m. with Dr. Robert Bedingfield officiating. Inurnment will be at Mariner Sands Gardens. Arrangements are by Martin Funeral Home & Crematory, Stuart.
