Chester C Morrison, 82, formerly of 112 East Avenue, died about 10:50 a.m. today in Sheboygan, Wis at the home of his son James M. Morrison. Born in Waukee, he was emploiyed by the Great Northern Railway Co for 50 years when he retired in 1946 and returned to Ames. Survivors include his son James, a sister, Mrs Ethelda Mast of Davenport and two grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife Sadie, Jan 28, 1953. Funeral services will be held Friday at 1:30 from the Adams Funeral Home with the Rev Lawrence B Beals, pastor of First Methodist Church officiating. Burial is to be in Ames Municipal Cemetery.
