Life Snuffed Out Quickly. A. C. Foster electrocuted at Grand Junction, Colorado. Body Brought Here. A. C. Foster was electrocuted while attending to his duties as general superintnedent of the Grand Junction Colorado light plant, was the word received in Ames last Friday evening. All details have not been given but it is known Mr. Foster was working on a pole high from the ground when he took hold of a "live" wire. The shock was such as to knock him from the pole and he fell to the ground. When assistance reached him he was dead. Mr Foster was the general superintendency of the Grand Junction Electric Light Company, a position he has held for the past twelve years. The company is an individual company and is owned by parties who reside in the east. Sixteen years ago Mr Foster left Ames and went west. When the position became open at Grand Junction he accepted it and has remained with the company since. He was a son-in-law of C. E. Haverly and a nephew of John Cole of this city, and the body will be returned here, arriving some time today and interment will be in the Ames Cemetery. Elmer Coffin departed Saturday for Grand Junction and will accompany the body to Ames. Mr Foster leaves a wife and three children. Mr Foster was one of the best electricians who has gone from Ames. He was known as a careful, industrious man and the word from his employees expresses the saddest grief over his sudden death.
