Death Notice

Bertha L. Nolta, 96, of Independence, and formerly of the Zearing area, died Tuesday afternoon at the Buchanan County Long Term Care Center in Independence following a short illness.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 26, at the St. Joseph's Catholic Church in State Center with burial in the St. James Catholic Cemetery in Colo. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday at the Reiff Funeral Home & Crematory in Independence and from 9 a.m. till services at the church in State Center.
