THE AMES TRIBUNE, Ames, Story County, Iowa, Friday, August 4, 2006.

Howard Arthur Jacobsen, 83, of Council Bluffs died. A funeral service will be at 3 p.m. today at Westlawn-Hillcrest Funeral Home in Omaha, Neb. Burial will be in Westlawn-Hillcrest Memorial Park in Omaha. with military honors by VFW Post 2503.

He is survived by his children and their spouses, Judy and Jerry Miller, Nancy and Jerry Voyna,; Ruth and Joe Franklin, Carol and Tim Pantoja, Gary and Leanna Milligan, Michael and Rachel Milligan, Bob and Colleen Milligan and Susan and Joe Koch; and his grandchildren and great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Marva; his son, Terry; and his parents.
