THE AMES TRIBUNE, Ames, Story County, Iowa, Tuesday, July 4, 2006.

Lillian Pedersen, 81, of Dana, died Monday, July 3, at her home. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, July 6, at Slininger-Rossow Funeral Home in Jefferson. Interment will be in the Jefferson Cemetery.

Survivors include her husband, Virgil Pedersen, of Dana; two daughters, Mary Buchman, of Gilbert, and Jan Schmitt and her husband, Bill, of Alleman; two sons, Ken Pedersen and his wife, Linda, of Jefferson; and Jack Pedersen, of Dana; eight grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; three brothers, Jim Rasmussen, of Jefferson, Dale Rasmussen, of Omaha, Neb., and Richard Rasmussen, of Lone Rock, Wis.

Friends may call at Slininger-Rossow Funeral Home in Jefferson after 9 a.m. Wednesday, July 5. The family will be present at the funeral home to greet friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Memorials are suggested to Iowa Hospice.
