Lars Tollefson died at his home east of town last Thursday morning, aged about 75 years. At the age of 50, he left his native land Norway, and came to this, the land of his adoption, and located at this place. He leaves to mourn his death, a wife, son and daughter. Both of the children are married, the daughter living in Hardin county, while the son lives near Emmetsburg. Mr. Tollefson was a man of high morals and greatly respected by his neighbors who honored him for his uprightness. Funeral services were conducted by Pastor Smedal at the west church, Saturday at one o'clock, after which the remains were laid to rest in our beautiful cemetery.
