Keith Page, 93, of Nevada, died Wednesday, May 31, at the Story County Medical Center in Nevada.Keith was born March 26, 1913, in Waterloo, the son of John Quincy Page and Adeline May (Dunn) Page. He was united in marriage to Helen Furland on Nov. 20, 1939, in Albia. Helen preceded Keith in death in November of 1973. Keith was the owner of a Paint Store in Nevada.
He was a member of the Community of Christ Church in Ames. He was a charter member of the Nevada Lions Club, a 50-year member of the Masonic Lodge, Indian Creek Country Club, the Nevada Community Club and the Nevada Chamber of Commerce. He was a former member of the Elks Club. He was the County Chairman of East Story County & Boone Multiple Sclerosis Chapter. Keith was an avid golfer and enjoyed playing tennis as well as other sports. He was an avid Chicago Cubs fan. Keith also had a love for music and had won many accolades playing the trumpet.
Keith is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Phil and Paula Page of Nevada; two grandchildren, Kim (Bryan) Hasford of Nevada and Aaron Page of Des Moines; and one great-grandson, Aiden Hasford.
His parents, his wife and one brother, Vernon Page, preceded Keith in death.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Monday, June 5, at the Bacon Funeral Home in Nevada. Burial will be in the Nevada Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday, June 4, at the Bacon Funeral Home in Nevada.
