THE AMES TRIBUNE, Ames, Story County, Iowa, Thursday, June 1, 2006.

Carol Ann Hickman, 52, of Roland, died Wednesday, May 31, at Mary Greeley Medical Center in Ames. An informal memorial gathering will be at 2 p.m. Sunday, June 4, at Soderstrum Funeral Home in Story City.

She was a department manager at Wal-Mart in Ames.

She is survived by her husband, Charles of Roland; three sons, Charles of Story City, Robert (Dawn) of Des Moines and Nick of Ames; one daughter, Angela Hickman of Roland; her mother, Susan Spalding of Des Moines; one brother, Robert Lowe of Des Moines; two sisters, Kathie Lowe of Des Moines and Linda Kern of Ankeny; and one granddaughter, Shelby Hickman.

She was preceded in death by her father, Robert Lowe; and her step-father, George Spalding.
