One of the saddest deaths that has been felt in this community, occurred Tuesday, when Annie, the young wife of Post Master Johnson, passed from this life.

Annie Prescott was about 22 years old, was married to Joseph R. Johnson on December 25th, 1892 and died at her home in Roland, June 4th, 1895. The young wife and mother leaves a husband to mourn the loss of a loving companion and helpmate, after only a few short years of wedded happiness and a darling babe of only 18 months to fight the battles of this lief without the tendor and watchful care of a devoted mother. G. O. Paulsrud conducted the funeral services yesterday at 2 o'clock, at teh east church, which was filled with the many friends of the deceased, eager to pay their last tribute of respect to that one on whose face they will never look again in this life. Tender words of sympathy are expressed for the young husband and other near and dear relatives.
