THE AMES TRIBUNE, Ames, Story County, Iowa, Tuesday, April 18, 2006.

Rhonda Sue Kreamer
July 27, 1958-April 14, 2006
Rhonda Sue Kreamer, 47, transcended this life to join God in eternity on Good Friday, April 14. A memorial Mass will be at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday, April 19 at St. Agnes Catholic Church in Red Lodge, Mont. Interment of the urn will follow in the Red Lodge Cemetery. A reception will be at the church following the graveside service.
Rhonda fought a vicious cancer for 33 months with courage and dignity.

Born July 27, 1958, in Ames, Rhonda graduated from Ames High School and then attended Iowa State University, where she earned a bachelor of science degree in fashion merchandising. She worked in the fashion industry in Chicago and Dallas until starting a banking career with Allied Bank in Dallas.

She married F. Scott Kreamer Oct. 5, 1985. They lived in Gainesville, Fla., where she worked for Sun Banks. After moving to the Billings/Red Lodge area in 1989, she continued her career with Montana Bank. After the birth of her first child, Katie, and until her diagnosis of ovarian cancer, she worked part time at several banks so she could always be available to her children. The way she could touch people's hearts through a teller window was amazing.

In 1994, the family moved to Red Lodge. It was there that they became members of St. Agnes Church and found joy and happiness in their love for each other, their daughters and the many cherished friendships they had with the people in Billings and Red Lodge.

She touched many lives, sometimes only very briefly but always leaving people with a happy heart. Her smile conveyed the beautiful, gentle spirit that she was. She was passionate in marriage and devoted in motherhood. In addition to family and friends, she loved babies, her dogs, Christmas tree hunting, skiing, swimming, beaches, Chico Hot Springs, fudgecicles and long walks at the foot of the Beartooth mountains.

She is survived by her husband, Scott Kreamer, and their two daughters, Katie (16) and Stephanie (8). She also is survived by her parents, James and Anna Nilsson of Ames; one sister, Beverly Lemme of Knoxville, Tenn.; three brothers, Robert Nilsson of Poughkeepsie, N.Y., Paul Nilsson of Naperville, Ill., and Bruce Nilsson of Phoenix; two nephews, Doug Lemme and James Mathew Nilsson; and one niece, Sarah Lemme.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to The needy family fund, St. Agnes Church, P.O. Box 1067, Red Lodge, MT, 59068, or to STEP, P.O. Box 2251, Red Lodge, MT 59068.

We will all miss her pretty face, strawberry blond hair, sky blue eyes...that laugh ... that voice, and the smile that came from a beautiful soul.

I love you a lot a lot a lot forever and ever.

Pineapples!
