Former Colo Man Dies in Veteran's Hospital

Colo, Sept. 8 -- Friends here regret receiving the news of the death of James French, age 28, of Des Moines who passed away Friday at the Veteran's hospital in that city. while he has been a sifferer of tuberculosis for the past several years his death came as a shock to his family and friends, as he became suddenly ill from a hemorrhage while enroute to Idaho with his parents. He was returned to Des Moines where he died shortly after entering the hospital. James formerly lived at Colo before moving to Des Moines. Funeral services were held from the Lilly Funeral Home at Des Moines on Tuesday. He leaves besides his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Leo French, one brother, Leonard French, besides many other relatives and a host of friends.
