Mrs. Oleda J. Severson, 95, of the Colonial Manor in Zearing, passed away of heart failure on Saturday, Jan. 18, 2003.

Services were held Tuesday, Jan. 21 at the Bethany Lutheran Church in McCallsburg with burial at the Warren Township Cemetery in McCallsburg. Oleda came to McCallsburg from Estherville in 1990. She was a homemaker and housewife.

Oleda was born Sept. 3, 1907 in McCallsburg to the parents of Charlie E. and Leva (Thompson) Christian. She married Martin Levi Severson on Jan. 1, 1929 in McCallsburg. She was a member of the Bethany Lutheran Church.

Surviving are two sons, Londell (Vicki) Severson of Custer, SD; Lance (Beverly) Severson of Underwood; six grandchildren and one sister, Mrs. Charlotte Morris of Zearing. She was preceded in death by her husband Martin Levi Severson on July 31, 1990, three sisters and three brothers.

Fredregill Funeral Home of Zearing was in charge of arrangements.
