Marlys N. Bern, 77, of Nevada, formerly of Gladbrook, died Sunday, Feb. 26, at Mary Greeley Medical Center in Ames. Funeral services were held Wednesday at the Bacon Funeral Home in Nevada. Burial was in the Nevada Municipal Cemetery. Bacon Funeral Home, Nevada, was in charge of arrangements.
