FISCHER-MEYER

Dana Lynn Fischer and Max Dodds Meyer were married Feb. 26 at the Collegiate United Methodist Church with the Rev. Wayne L. Bartruff officiating at the double ring ceremony.

The parents of the couple are Col. and Mrs. Harold E. Fischer, 1316 Curtiss Ave. and Mr. and Mrs. Maurice Meyer, Washington.

The bride, escorted down the aisle by her uncle, Arthur H. Ollrich, because of the absence of her father serving in Vietnam, wore a gown of white plau de soie. The bodice topped with a beaded bolero featured an empire waistline, Peter Pan collar and long full cuffed sleeves. The skirt swept into a detachable train. Her shoulder length veil of English nylon illusion was fastened with a band of pearlized orange blossoms. She carried a cascade bouquet of white roses, baby's breath and mixed flowers.

Sharon Oakleaf, cousin of the bride, served as maid of honor. Mrs. Fred Yoder, sister of the groom, JoAnne Pauley and Mary Haupt were the bridesmaids.

Jerry Flynn served as best man. Kurt E. Fischer, brother of the bride, John Kingland and John Levisey were the groomsmen. Fred Yoder, brother-in-law of the groom, Richard Meyer, brother of the groom and Jerry Junkman were the ushers. Clint Fischer, brother of the bride was the candle lighter.

The reception was held at the Pine Room of the church.

After a wedding trip to Minneapolis, Minn., the couple will be at home at 25 Homestead Colony Trailer Court.

Mrs. Meyer attended Mankato State College, Mankato, Minn. She was affiliated with Gamma Phi Beta sorority. She is employed by the Story County Credit Bureau, Inc.

Meyer attended Iowa State University. He is affiliated with Sigma Chi fraternity. He is employed by the Iowa State Highway Commission.
