In Loving Memory Matthew Williams
Today, in a world that’s fair, you should have started your senior year at Ballard High School. This year should have been about friends, classes, music, sports, senior pictures, Homecoming Prom, college applications and Graduation. Your life here on earth however, was anything but fair.
You were born with brain abnormalities that could not be explained. Your life here on earth was filled with uncontrolled Epileptic seizures. You were unable to walk, talk or swallow without aspiration. You life was filled with pain, from surgeries, needle pokes, scoliosis, contractures and broken bones. Even though your pain you gave us smiles and giggles, which we treasured.
Six years ago we had to say goodbye to you a day that came too soon. As much as we miss you it would be unfair to wish for you to come back. You are free. As we watch your classmates at Ballard 2013, we will cry many tears, for the life you should have had. We will also smile and cheer, because we can see you, Matthew guiding and protecting them. Unaware to them you are their Guardian Angel.
You are in our hearts forever.
Mom, Dad, Andrew. ~ Newspaper unknnown Aug 2002.
