Shane, Adolph, College professor; b. Austria, Feb. 27, 1879; s/o William & Mary; ed. Iowa State College, 1905; Sigma Xi; initiated by Iowa Gamma, June 3, 1905 (charter member); associate professor of Electrical Engineering at Iowa State College; after graduation first connected with Oklahoma Agricultural and Mechanical College and later with Univ. of Pennsylvania; m. Anne E. Kierulff, June 30, 1908. Address, Iowa State College, Ames, Iowa. (pg 212)
