Funeral services were held Tuesday, March 18, at 2:00 p.m., at Netherlands Reformed Church of Rock Valley for Mrs. Jannus Teunissen, 57, who passed away at her home in Inwood Saturday morning, March 15, after a lingering illness.

Service was held at the family home at 12:30 p.m., Rev. J. Van Zweeden officiated at the services.

Burial was made in Rock Valley cemetery, under the direction of Vander Ploeg's Funeral Home of Sioux Center.

Pall bearers were: Cornie Teunissen, Willie Teunissen, Hams Van Roekel, Cornelius Boone, Gerrit Teunissen, Jake Teunissen.

Mrs. Jannus Teunissen, nee Hendrikje Van Holland, was born September 28, 1900, in The Netherlands. She was married in The Netherlands on November 19, 1924, and shortly after came to America.

Besides her husband she is survived by the following children: Cornelius of Inwood, Jacoba, Mrs. Wayne Nagel, of Sioux Falls; Gybertus of Inwood and Henry of Inwood. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren and two sisters and three brothers in The Netherlands.
