Carmel F. Couchman, 76 of Sioux City and formerly of Des Moines, IA. passed away on Tuesday, December 20, 2011 in Sioux City.
Services will be at 10:30 Tuesday at St. Boniface Catholic Church in Sioux City. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday with the family present from 6 to 8 p.m. and a vigil service at 7 p.m. Monday all at Meyer Brothers Colonial Chapel in Sioux City.
Carmel taught at St. Joseph Grade School in Sioux City for a few years and then moved to Des Moines and taught middle school in the West Des Moines School District.
She is survived by two sisters and numerous nieces and nephews.
