WILBUR VERMEER Nov. 5, 1927---- March 14, 1980
Relatives here received word the past week of the death of Wilbur Vermeer who passed away Friday, March 14, in the Veterans Hospital in Little Rock, Ark. after a long illness with cancer.
He was born in Sioux Center, on Nov. 5, 1927, and married Donna Newman of Hawarden, on Feb. 4, 1948. Survivors include the widow and four sons, Jeffrey, Kyle, Noren and Logan.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, March 18, 1980 and burial took place in Arlington National Cemetery.
He was a son of the late Mrs. Andrew De Zeeuw of Sioux Center.
