William Moerman, 61, of Sioux Center died Saturday of a heart attack.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at the First Christian Reformed Church with the Rev. John Piersma officiating. Burial will be in Memory Gardens Cemetery.

Moerman was born March 22, 1920, at Sioux Center and married Alice Van Wyhe on Jan. 31, 1946, at Ireton. He was a painting contractor, a veteran of World War II, a past commander of the Doornink-Brunsting Post of the Veterans of Foreign Wars and a member of the First Christian Reformed church.

Survivors include his wife; four brothers, Cornelius and Paul, both of Sioux Center, Adrian of Fort Myers, Fla., and Peter of Tucson, Ariz., and four sisters, Mrs. Henry (Henrietta) Olsen of Sioux City, Mrs. Dick (Magdalene) Fedders of Hawarden, Mrs. Jack (Nellie) Rodibaugh of Otsego, Mich., and Mrs. Elmer (Dena) Cuperus of Jenison, Mich.
