John Lihudis

John Lihudis passed away October 15, 2003 at his home in Rockaway Beach, OR, at the age of 80.
John was born April 29, 1923 in Sioux Center, IA to George and Johanna (Hulstein) Lihudis. He served in the Army during WWII. He was employed by Great Northern Railway for 37 years, and was a member of the Railroad Hall of Fame as the youngest appointed officer on The Great Northern Railroad.
John lived in various cities throughout the midwest and northwestern United States. He was a life member of the Skykomish Masonic Lodge, and was a member of the Catholic Church. He enjoyed trains, automobiles and "carpentry".
John is survived by his wife, Jo, of Rockaway Beach, OR; three daughters, Jane Tocco of Edmonds, WA, Linda Ferguson of Ft. Worth, TX, and Kathy Ensminger of Snohomish, WA; one son, Bill Lihudis of Seattle, WA; two step-sons, John Branstrom of Everett, WA; Jeff Branstrom of Stanwood, WA; one step-daughter, Jody Sites of Everett, WA; 14 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
A private family inurnment will be held at a later date.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association.
Arrangements in care of Waud's Funeral Home, Tillamook, OR.
