Mrs. Geo. Benbow died at her home in Baker township Sunday afternoon after an illness of about five weeks of cancer, dropsy and pneumonia. Deceased was 72 years old at the time of death and was a native of England and came to this country when a small child. She was married to Geo. Benbow in Philby IA, 26 years ago and lived on a farm near there for several years. She had four children who with the life partner mourn her death. Services were held from the house Tuesday after noon, Rev. C. W. Howard, of the Presbyterian church having charge of the services and interment was made in Sheldon cemetery. The church choir rendered several beautiful selections at the services. The bereaved ones have the sympathy of al in their great sorrow.
