Wednesday morning the shocking news was spread that the little 4 year old boy of Mr. and Mrs. Gesink, living two miles southeast of here had met death with an accident. His older brothers were at work fixing the windmill when the little fellow came up to them and was told by the others to go home and he went toward the house, but came back again a little while later and was not noticed by his brothers. A monkey wrench fell from the top where they were working and struck the little fellow on the head, killing him almost instantly. The grief of the parents and brothers can be imagined. These good people have the sincere sympathy of the whole community.
