Roghair, Alice born Apr 1907 3yr 4mo 17dys died Sep 9, 1910 Maurice parents Nic Roghair and Ida Van Steenwyk died of poliomyelitis. Sioux County Death record.

There are several cases of infantile paralysis in this vicinity. At the George Bonnema home a baby was taken away and N. Roghair residing near Orange City recently lost two children.

Nicholaas Roghair born 10 Jan 1866 Barneveld, Neth. died 19 Dec 1943 Maurice IA, his wife was Ida Van Steenwyk 1883-1939, Their children were Johnann 1903-1998, Ella 1906, Alica 1907-1910, Gertie 1907-1910, Garrit 1909, William 1911, Nick 1912, Ida 1915, Henry 1916 and Elsie 1919.
The two children died from polio were Alica and Gertie.
