Good Woman Called Mrs. Chas F. Noble passes Away Tuesday
Her Illness of Long Duration The Body Taken to Old Home in Ohio for Interment.

Mrs. C. F. Noble passed away at her home in this city early Tuesday morning after a lingering illness of many weeks. Brief funeral services were held at the home at on o’clock yesterday conducted by Rev. Arthur Miles pastor of the Congregational church. The body was then taken to the old home at Iberia Ohio, for interment in the family burial ground.

Ella B. Mc Farland, daughter of Newton and Caroline Mc Farland was born in Iberia Ohio, Feb 10, 1866. She was united in married to Chas. F. Noble at Iberia. Ohio, on Thanksgiving day in the year of 1885. For a time after their marriage they made their home in Des Moines IA. In 1886 she moved with her husband to Maurice, this county Since 1889 she has resided with her family in Hawarden. Here her children were born: The twins who died in infancy; Warren Newton, who is 19 years an Horace Burton, who is a lad of 8 years.

Besides the husband and two sons left to mourn her loss are an aged mother, Mrs. C. A. Mc Farland, who is 81 years of age; a sister, Mrs. Adeline Henderson,, three brothers, Charles N. Wallace C., and Clifford W. all of Morrow County Ohio, Mr. J. E. Noble and wife of Mt. Gilead Ohio, came to the stricken home six weeks ago and have been a great comfort during the distressing illness, Mrs. Noble being almost constantly at the bedside doing all that loving hands could do to make the last day of the dear one peaceful and comfortable.

Mrs. Noble has been a great sufferer, her first illness having begun twenty two years ago. It is one of those inscrutable mysteries which no one can explain, why she should suffer thus, but be assured that there is a reason and that sometime the Father will tell his child. In the meantime we can trust where we can not trace,

Mrs. Noble’s final illness began seventeen weeks ago, when she took to her be from which she was destined never to leave until the Heavenly Father came to take home His child. Neighbors and friends sincerely regret the demise of so good and true a woman, but would not if they could bring her back to this world of suffering. She was a good woman of whom perhaps the Master would say: She had done what she could.

Mrs. Noble was a consistent member of the congregational church of this city and the church will miss her. She born unmistakable testimony to her faith in the Savior and left no one about her in doubt as to her simple and childlike trust in God. With these words we close the book of her life. Peace be to her Spirit.
