The infant babe of Mr. and Mrs. John Harmsen died Saturday morning of whooping cough. It was buried Sunday evening in the Lebanon cemetery. They had the sympathy of a host of friends in this vicinity.

Research Note: From a report on ancestry.com submitted by others, Simon Harmsen born 12 May 1910 Sioux Center IA died 17 Sep 1910, they son of Johannes ‘John’ Harmsen 1856-1935 and Aaltje Dijkstra. 1865-1940. He was the last child born to a large family.
