Mrs. Clara Van Sloten Funeral services were held for Mrs. Clara Van Sloten of Bellflower CA, a former Hull resident, were held at the 3rd Chr Ref Church of Bellflower May 27. Her death was due to a heart attack on Saturday evening May 23 while caring for children in a friends home.

The services were conducted by Rev. Weigers and with solos were rendered by Bass Lems, formerly of Rock Valley, now residing in Bellflower. Burial was at Rose Hills, Whittier CA.

Those who survive her are William of Alamda, Ca., Arnnetta Mrs. Francis Covin of Bellflower, Jessomina Mrs. Watler Groeneweg of Hull IA, Robert of Sparta TN, Marlene Mrs. Otto Bajema of Rock Valley, Donald of Nowalk Ca; Patty Mrs. Gary Garrison of Upland CA; also 27 grand children and 23 great grandchildren; 2 sisters, Mrs. Abe Brandsma, and Mrs. Dick Van Eldick and one brother Donald Heemstra of Rochester MN .

William Van Sloten her husband preceded her in death in 1957 and also one infant son.
