Sudden Death of Mrs. Stopher
Mrs. Andrew Stopher died at her home in this city early Wednesday morning after a brief illness. She was taken sick last Friday and though the best medical aid was summoned the efforts of the physicians and the most carful administrations of loving hands could not stay the end.

Jessie Mabel Rundel was born in Monticello IA, March 11, 1877 and was the second daughter of Mr. and Mrs. O. B. Rundel. She received her education at the Monticello Schools She became a member of the M. E. Church when five years of age and was an active member of the Sunday school. On Mya 29, 1904 she was untied in marriage to Andrew Stopher at Mitchell SD. And came to Hawarden with her husband in the latter part of 1905. Short funeral services were held at the home at 1:15 this afternoon by Rev. Westlake, pastor of the Congregational Church.

The remains were taken to the home of her mother in Monticello IA, where services and interment will take place Saturday. She is survived by her mother, husband, two brothers and five sisters. The brothers are Harry and Orlando Rundel of Monticello, Grace and Margaret of Monticello, Mrs. Harry Faher of Mitchell SD, and Mrs. Art Pierce of Leola SD and Mrs. Don W. Rathbun of Marion IA. Sympathy to the bereaved husband, and sorrowing mother and brothers and sisters.
