Miss Hannah Ossenfort the only daughter of Mr. and Mrs. August Ossenfort was born May 25, 1895 and died at the home of her parents Saturday afternoon, March 27, 1909, aged 13 years 10 months and 2 days. Miss Hannah was attending her demise in apparently her usual health. She was in Boyden Tuesday to have some dresses fitted that were being prepared for her completing school and confirmation exercises that were to have taken place last Sabbath. While in town she was taken with severe pain and Wednesday morning a physician was called and all was done that could possibly have been to arrest the fell destroyer, but without avail, and Saturday afternoon at about five o’clock when was called home.
The funeral services were held at the Ev. Lutheran church Tuesday afternoon, conducted by her pastor, Rev. Baetke, and the remains laid to rest in the beautiful Ev. Lutheran St. Johannas Cemetery. Mr. and Mrs. Ossenfort have the deepest sympathy of all their neighbors and our people in their sorrow foe the loss of this loving and dutiful daughter.
