Maynor Jonathan Hernandez was born in Los Angeles, California on September 28, 1991. A child of curiosity and adventure, Maynor would walk steadily in his path and be loyal to those closest to him. From his early years in Los Angeles, to his later life in Rock Valley, Iowa, Maynor lived a life full of enthusiasm. Maynor had a tenacity and passion for the things he would do. He was a lover of vehicles and having a great time with his friends and family. Maynor was also an avid Las Vegas Raiders fan, mechanic, and handyman. Maynor left an indelible impression on those he met.

A man of quiet virtue and deep love, Maynor leaves behind his wife, Chasady, alongside seven children: Hailey, Aliyah, Jayce, Aaron, Mila, Xander, and Natalie, who he loved and cherished profoundly. His passing also leaves a deep wound to those that loved him, including his mother, Dora Esquivel; father, Jose Curiel; siblings, Glenda Esquivel, Angel Esquivel, and Milton Cuellar; and parents-in-law, Craig and Lisa Van Schepen.

Maynor will be sorely missed, and his memory and love will live on in the hearts of those that have to endure his loss. As a man, and most importantly as a father, he will be dearly missed, and we love him as far as the universe stretches throughout time. Beyond love, his likeness will never be seen again, and the world lost a great soul. He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Maria Esquivel.
