Knorr rites to be Friday

Funeral services will be held Friday, Jan 21 at 2:00 p.m. at the Congregational church in Sioux Falls, S.D. for Gerard Knorr, 52 who died at Denver, Colorado Monday where he had gone for heart surgery.

Mr Knorr was born July 8, 1913, at Rock Valley and grew to manhood here. On November 15, 1938, he married Virginia Schmidt, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ed Schmidt in Sioux Falls.

He was a painter, decorator and building maintenance contractor and owned Mid-Continental Waterproofing Company in Sioux Falls.
