Glenda Faye (Engbers) Larson, 83, of Tucson, Arizona, formerly of Le Mars, Iowa, passed away on Sunday, June 18, 2023, in her home. A Celebration of Life Service will take place at 7:00 p.m. on Monday, August 14, 2023, at the Mauer – Johnson Funeral Home in Le Mars. Visitation will begin at 2:00 p.m. on Monday at the funeral home with the family present from 5-7 p.m.

Glenda Faye Engbers was born on November 17, 1939, in Le Mars, Iowa, the daughter of Albert and Wilmina (Geurink) Engbers. She attended Western Christian High School in Hull, Iowa.

In 1957, Glenda and Gary Korver were married. They were blessed with two sons, Terry and Troy and a daughter, Tiffany. They were divorced in 1972. She married David Larson in 1973 and lived in Sioux City, IA until they moved to Tucson, AZ in 1982.

Glenda worked as an LPN at St. Lukes Hospital in Sioux City before opening her own Dog Grooming business in the basement of her home so that she could be home more and involve the family with her business. After moving to Tucson, AZ she opened her own Dog Grooming shop and then eventually went back to nursing until she retired. She also worked for several years at Lake Powell, Arizona. She loved the area very much. She lived a full life traveling to nine countries in Europe, many islands and Mexico.

She will be lovingly remembered by her daughter and her husband, Tiffany and Kevin Olson of Le Mars, IA; grandchildren, Benjamin Korver and wife Mary of Washington, UT, Nicholas Shipley and wife Melinda of Le Mars, IA and Taylor Shipley of Le Mars, IA; great -grandchildren, Carleton McKenney, Paige Korver, Alex Korver, Ava Korver, Shawn Shipley, Troy Shipley and Atlas Shipley; a sister Verna Bottjen and husband Darrell of Bella Vista, AR.

She was preceded in death by her parents; sons, Terry and Troy; two sisters, Marvella and Carol; and a brother, Marvin.
