Alton Democrat of Sep 24, 1904 The infant child of Mr. and Mrs. John Waanders died Saturday night and was buried Monday. The little one was but a few weeks old and had been ill from birth.

See the obit of Johan F. ‘John’ Waanders 1866-1934 and his wife Jennie Kreykes Mrs. John Waanders 1877-1957. In John’s obit it mentioned that three children died in infancy.
