A three year old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. H. van Drunen died Monday afternoon from the effects of measles and was buried in the Sheridan Cemetery Tuesday afternoon, Mr. and Mrs. Van Drunen only arrived here from the old country a few short weeks ago and are occupants of the Oldenbecken property and are a yet comparatively strangers to our people. Although they will have the deepest sympathy of all our people in their sad affliction. They also have other children afflicted at this writing and it is feared that all may not recover.

No further local information was found on the family.

From a report on ancesctry.com possible parents could be Hendrikus Van Drunen 1868-1948 and Adriana Van Genderen 1868-1924. They came to USA in 1904. Their children listed did not include this daughter.
