Samuel Splear 1870-1946, his obit indicates the two children died in infancy wife was Emma Van De Voorde. However, the children died indicated in ancestry were not this child.

Another possible parents were Henry Splear Emma born 1874 NY died 19 Sep 1929 Rock Valley IA and M. Wyffles 1883-1944. Children listed were Bernard Ambrose Splear 1903-1973 and Irene Patricia Splear 1907-1973.

Neither family was found to acknowledge this child in the records, they were the only two families living in the area at that time.
